I love meeting people that are driven, inspired and don’t allow excuses to hold them back. Unique 18 yrs old showed up to my house for a shoot with a skateboard and 2 big bags of clothes. When I asked her about the skateboard she said, “I took the bus here.” I was kind of blown away. In a city like Los Angles where very few people take public transportation this lil girl was taking the bus to do a test shoot. She didn’t even complain about it…. The very next day I had a make up artist cancel because of car troubles. I realized two things.
11. There are no excuses.
22. Unique is going to make it because she is never going to let anything hold her back.
I ended up driving her home after the shoot. Very very cool girl.
